A 3-mile undeveloped barrier island reachable only by ferry (from Honeymoon Island) or by private boat — "Dr. Beach" #1 USA in 2008. Soft white sand, virtually no development, a 3-mile kayak trail through the mangroves, and a 4-hour maximum stay per ferry round-trip. Cafe Caladesi at the marina handles the lunch crowd.
