The flagship public beach in the middle of Anna Maria Island — at the foot of the Manatee Avenue bridge from Bradenton, with full-day lifeguard staffing 365 days a year and a free parking lot. The Cafe at the Beach concession is on the sand; the Beach House Waterfront Restaurant next door has been there since the 60s.
