Magic Island Lagoon
1201 Ala Moana Blvd, Honolulu, HI 96814
An artificial peninsula on the Diamond Head end of Ala Moana Regional Park, completed in 1964. The man-made lagoon at its tip is walled off from open ocean — flat, shallow water that's the safest swim spot in urban Honolulu for small kids. The tip is a postcard-grade sunset spot over the Waikiki skyline.
