La Jolla Shores

8200 Camino Del Oro, La Jolla, CA 92037

The mile-long sandy crescent that defines beach-day La Jolla — gentlest waves in San Diego county, the launch point for the kayak tour to the Seven Sisters sea caves, and the snorkel access to the La Jolla Underwater Park ecological reserve. Sea lions, leopard sharks (harmless, August-October), and warm summer water.

Great day for a beach walk.
